Xamarin & Ionic Are Now Supported By Plot Projects

At PlotProjects, we think it’s important to give our customers the flexibility to get the most out of our product. With new and more innovative platforms emerging for app developers to build apps on, we knew that it would only be a matter of time before we started supporting Xamarin and Ionic.

Well that day has now come! Our geofencing plugin and SDK now provides supports for Xamarin and Ionic in addition to iOS, Android, Phonegap, Appcelerator and Cordova.

So why did we choose to support Xamarin and Ionic?

xamarin Xamarin, a cross platform mobile development tool was recently acquired by Microsoft. It enables app developers to build apps for iOS, Android and Windows. This is part of a big push by Microsoft to get more developers to build apps for Windows and Xamarin could provide the answer. It’s an exciting development and we’re looking forward to seeing apps built on Xamarin using our technology.

ionicIonic is an open source front-end SDK for developing hybrid mobile apps, built on top of Angular JS and Apache Cordova. Ionic provides tools and services for developing hybrid mobile apps using Web technologies like CSS, HTML5 and Sass. Apps can be built with these web technologies and then distributed through native app stores to be installed on devices by leveraging Cordova. As a free platform, Ionic has recently become popular with app developers and we saw that the demand was there.

Being in regular contact with our customers and app developers, we provide all the support that they need to get our technology integrated into their apps quickly and easily.

There are also integration guides for developers for Xamarin and Ionic, to help developers to configure the Plot Plugin with ease.

So what are you waiting for? Get developing!

Further information on the Plot Plugin and SDK, documentation and support is provided on the PlotProjects website developers page.
