Exciting news for the Plot family! Proximity.Directory released its 3rd quarter report and named Plot Projects the 5th best proximity marketing platform provider worldwide!

Proximity.Directory (a branch of the proximity data platform Unacast) is an inventory of all companies working in the location and proximity industry, from hardware to platform providers. Its aim is to connect companies (457 companies from 58 different countries) within the industry and promote location and proximity across different markets. Proximity.Directory is the only company providing such insights in the industry which is why it’s so valuable to us and its audience.

Industry’s Leading Companies List

Since 2015, Proximity.Directory releases quarterly reports with updates on the current state of the industry. Among other insights, the report lists the leading companies in the industry, based on the aggregated data collected on their platform. In the 2017 3rd quarter report released in November, Plot Projects peaks at number 5 on the all-in-one solution providers list.

According to the report, Proximity.Directory’s Index scores Proximity Solution Providers based on a number of measurements: company’s status (pilot or commercial), clients, deployed sensors, number of employees, geographic presence, case studies and frequency of updates.

Proximity and the Financial Industry

In addition, the reports explore the contribution of location intelligence and proximity marketing in a different vertical each quarter. This issue of the report focused on the financial industry and featured several progressive use cases among which was Plot Projects powering a Dutch banking app with location-based marketing.

What next?

All in all, this report recognizes Plot Projects as one of the top players in the industry, and that’s champagne worthy, but we’re not planning on stopping at number 5! So we’re going to keep working on delivering the best possible product and service and aim for a spot on the podium in upcoming reports, so keep an eye out!
