Campaigns can now be send only once per location, giving you more control over resendable messages. Also, we have added our Phonegap/Cordova plugin to npm, allowing you to install it through npm. Read the full release notes below.
Last sprint we released our new plugin version, this time we release its features for both Appcelerator Titanium and Phonegap/Cordova. We also added segmentation for Phonegap/Cordova. It was possible to run geotriggers on your geofences and beacons, but they would trigger your app cooldown, with this release it is possible to make your geotriggers ignore this cooldown.
We have just released a new version of the Plot plugin, version 1.11.0! It contains optimisations as well as new features, such as retrieving the cached notifications and geotriggers! We offer an AAR for our Android plugin to simplify integration and have updated compatibility with the AltBeacon library. We also improved our dashboard even further, read more down below.
A new release of our dashboard brings you country-based notifications and segmentation on ranges! With country-based notifications you can target all your app users in a certain country, this way you can set up large campaigns that can be activated almost instantly. Our segmentation capabilities are extended, where before you could only segment on equality you can now segment on data ranges.
We are introducing new features in this release! For instance, we have released experiments, this allows you to experiment with your notification messages for your campaigns. Doing so allows you to see which messages work and which do not, improving engagement of your customers. We also created a request demo feature on our dashboard, which makes it easier for you to get in contact with us. By requesting a demo we will show you all the benefits of using Plot!
A big release notes today, we have been accumulating a bunch of new features and release them all today! This means additional features in the dashboard, as well as a new plugin version to use them. One of these things is segmentation. This will allow you to segment your users and thus further specify which notifications are relevant to what kind of users. Another is geotriggers, these are triggers that work like notifications without displaying a message. They can be used to determine if an app user has entered (or exited) a geofence (or iBeacon).
In order to get these functionalities inside your app you will have to upgrade to version 1.10.0, which in addition to these features also switched to file-based configuration.
Additionally we have implemented a much requested feature in our dashboard; placeholders. You can define a label on your geofence or iBeacon and use this inside your notification or campaign, creating location-based messaging.
Just a short list of release notes for this sprint; we have put most of our efforts into improving our internal tools and software. We did however fix the notification status for campaigns and we are also pleased to announce our new upcoming features!
