Download your content from the dashboard – Release notes March 21

We worked this last couple weeks on new functionality for both the dashboard and our plugins. Also, we’ve written a technical blogpost.

For most lists in the dashboard it’s now possible to download its content as CSV. This helps to give you an overview what is now in the dashboard. You can start the download by clicking on the download button on the table header.

We’ve updated our Android Appcelerator Titanium module to add support for Appcelerator Titanium SDK 7. This version, 2.2.0, is a drop in replacement for earlier versions of the plugin.

We’ve added developer debug messages for iOS when working segmentation properties. This to make clear whether setting the property was set correctly. This is available in version 2.1.0-beta2 for iOS. More information about segmenting your users and notifications is in the Segmentation Guide.

We’ve improved the reporting on notification and location services opt-in in our plugins to make the opt-in rate more reliable. The iOS opt-in report contains a split between users who haven’t opted-in, those who have opted-in with the “When-in-use” permission and those who have opted-in with the “Always” permission. This is available in version 2.1.0-beta2 for iOS and version 2.5.0-beta2 for Android.

To conclude, we’ve written a blogpost about how to setup your own native notification filter and geotrigger handler when working with Phonegap, Cordova and Ionic. You can read the blogpost here: How to implement NotificationFilter and GeotriggerHandler for Phonegap/Cordova/Ionic.

Bugfixes:
The notification filter for iOS didn’t work correctly when it was used in combination with beacon notifications. 2.1.0-beta2 fixes this.

The Android notification filter didn’t allow large notification images, which is now fixed as well in version 2.4.4 and 2.5.0-beta2.
